Give me water. It doesn’t matter the shape or form.

Ocean.

River.

Lake.

Creek (and I say, “cric.”)

Pond.

No matter what contains it, I love water. I find peace, and my soul is stirred in awe.

Water is limitless. Powerful. It can destroy, yet we can’t live without it. It can rage when wind is added, or without, be as smooth as glass. It can float your boat or sink your ship.

God gathered water under the sky and separated it with land. He gave it its place. Sitting, and walking near it, or floating on it, is how I keep from being Weary by Wednesday.

Water is good. God said so.

And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:9-10

Do you need a little respite? Find a little water soon, and awe the God who created such a wonder.

I am praying for you.
