It doesn’t matter the shape or form, give me water.
Ocean, river, lake, pond, or creek (and I say, “cric”). No matter how it is contained, I love water.
I find peace, and my soul is stirred to awe.
Water is limitless and powerful. It can destroy, yet we can’t live without it. It can rage when wind is added, or be as smooth as glass without it.
It can float your boat or sink your ship.
God gathered water under the sky and separated it with land. He gave it its place.
Simply being near water is how I keep from being Weary by Wednesday.
Water is good. God said so.
And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:9-10)
Do you need a little respite? Try a little water therapy soon, and find yourself in awe of the God who created such a simple wonder.
Thanks for sharing your Wednesday with me. I am praying for you.
